IS THIS A SYMPTOM OF ACID REFLUX OR SIDE EFFECT OF NEXIUM?

No data was given why nexium, zantac and prevacid were given to your five months old baby in the first place.
The safety and effectiveness of NEXIUM for the treatment of symptomatic Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease in patients < 1 year of age have not been established.
It is hard to find out what movements your baby makes when described in words. You might want to describe and imitate the movements when you visit the doctor. Meanwhile, you might want to stop giving nexium to her.
The movements might be unrelated to nexium. If the movements are identified as similar to seizures, you might be asked if the birth of your baby was in some way complicated. Data about recent infection and fever might be needed, too. Physical exam and laboratory blood test might be able to give answer to what is causing the unexpected movements.
