Q: Side effect from Cymbalta or Pristiq ?

Does anyone sweat a LOT on these meds? It increases my pulse and as a result I sweat so much. And it gets really bad when I sleep because I wake up soaking wet. I can't change prescriptions either because in other ways it's really working for me. I also can't take the heat in summer like I could before these pills. I used to love hot weather.

So if they make you sweat as bad as they do me, what do you do about it? Change your bed sheets every night? Stay inside when it's hot out? I can't use that RX deodorant because I have to put topical medication on my underarms at night for an unrelated problem.

hi. i'm on cymbalta also. i despise hot weather due to the fact the meds make me sweat and intolerant to heat. try keeping the air on low and using a ceiling fan, and maybe additional fans pointed at you when you sleep. i put on powder, like shower to shower, when i feel icky (under arms, undies, ect.) it makes me alot more comfortable. wear tank tops when you can. i used to sleep nude, lol, thinking that i'd be cooler. but i figured out that wearing a sleeveless top and thin cotton undies and/or pj pants keeps ya drier. hope it works!
