Could I be pregnant? - Im sexually active with my partner, we always use a condom. Past 2 weeks ive been feeling sick, tired, back pain, needing the toilet every 20 minutes...now I have my period 2 weeks early with constant cramping, not a normal period, it was really light the first day then heavy this morning, how its turned to nothing at all. Is there any chance I could be pregnant? When is the earliest I can do a pregnancy test?

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

Since you had periods 2 weeks early, chances of pregnancy are less. Wait until the original due date and take a pregnancy test. In all probability you have severe UTI with pelvic inflammatory disease.

Usually there is ovulation bleeding mid cycle, so if you are mid cycle (must be as your periods are 2 weeks away) then usually there is spotting and not heavy bleeding. So in all probability infection has brough about an earlier period.

Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist once. Hope this helps. Take care!
