I feel like I'm losing my mind!!
My family and boyfriend notice something isn't right with me, but I feel like everyone thinks I'm just going crazy or over-reacting and I'm not!
I just have a HUGE amount of odd things going on and I haven't felt normal and healthy for several months. Unfortunately, my doctor can't figure out what would be wrong....So...anyone?-----

I started feeling sick in June of 08 and finally found out I had Mono in August. I had Mono through October when my doctor discovered I no longer had mono but I still felt like crap b/c I had Epstein Barr...
I felt okay for a week or 2 and then felt terrible--it's been like 6 months now and I realize that my personalites been different.

headaches (major pressure around my eyes)
sensativity to light
nausea
loss of appetite (i eat 3" of a 6" sub 2 times a day- that's it!)
extreme fatigue
extreme irritability
(my cat can be in her litter box and just the noise of her in there gets me so worked up i feel like hitting something)..in example
extreme jumpiness
jittery feeling in my chest, like my heart is jittery
tires quickly
sensative gums (no new toothbrush or paste but my gums are bleeding for some reason the past several nights and mornings)
EXTREME OVER REACTION--
something that I think in the past would normally just annoy me makes me annoyed to the point of being pissed and my heart starts pounding...
something that I would normally just be mad or upset about makes me IRATE to the point I feel like I could lift a car (and have hit my boyfriend and broken things).

These are the most recent, but in the past year I also developed a bump on my head that has yet to go away, had what I considered 2 panic attacks last winter where I blacked out and felt that kind of 'fight or flight' response...and my memory has seemed to have been getting bad- to the point that I get embarassed at work and home and finally noticed that it happens a lot.

I've looked into a lot of things myself thyroid/stress/anxiety/STDs/tumor/immune disease....I have no idea and would appreciate ANY of yours..

Wow
The same thing happened to me. I've had almost all your symptoms since I was diagnosed with mono in early august. Have you gotten any answers from a doctor? Or areyou feeling better at all yet?

My Daughter is going thru it.
Please keep looking for a reason and solution. This mono crap is terrible. My daughter has been sick for months and there is nothing a doctor can do. They just keep saying time will heal her. (We can put a man on the moon, but can't find something that will kill a virus that can keep someone out of commission for months. CRAZY!)

Mono
Mood swings and bleeding gums sound like an iron deficiency problem. I was diagnosed with mono in jauary, and I still get kicked all the time with it. I have periods of extreme fatigue, my heart skips beats all the time, and the panic attacks don't help either. I found taking a mega vitatmin has done wonders though. A lot of vitemin B, C, and D really perk me up for most of the day. I am much better than in Jan-Mar, but I still can't work out or go running. It's more the fatigue than the tireness that get me.
