Sick for a year in a half

I've been sick for literally a year in a half and seen a few doctors and still can't rid of it and I just need someones help!

It started first with a sore throat and no matter what I could not get rid of it later on I gargle salt water and such and bam it's gone but it always comes back?

Then after I developed a cough and it was more of a dry cough but I'm always clearing my throat of phlegm and sometimes I have that heavy feeling on my chest and sometimes a little shortness of breath. I have headaches here and there but it's not constant or major just once in awhile. I also can only breathe out of one nostril and it switches from side to side here and there.

I first went to a doctor who said it was a post nasal drip and prescribed me an M pack which were sterioids taking 6 pills the first day then 5,4,3 ect. It worked for about 3-4 days then bam it came back again. I called the doctor he filled the same prescription and same results. Then I got sick and tired of coming in for the same thing and him charging me a 100$ a pop and it not working. So then I lived with it for 5-6 months more saw a some head Nurse cause my original doctor was out and she didn't know what she was talking about and I just said this and this helped me before which I thought since my previous doctor said it was post nasal it may have something to do with allergies so I was given Singular and Allegra D. I did that and well nothing and back to square one..

So I went back to my original doctor and he said I had a little case of Bronchitis so he prescribed me Amoxicilin for that and said my allergies were acting up and told me to take Claritin once a day and Mucinex twice a day and Amoxicilin 3 times a day. I followed this for 10 days as he said and well it did help a little bit and well made me tired all the time but I still have this awful cough and still always clearing my throat and still can only breathe out of one nostril.


I'm looking for hopefully idea's to get rid of this because it seems to me doctors can't figure it out so anyone who might know of something please I'm desperate!
