2 month old baby fussy can't seem to get comfortable. When he does go to sleep he doesn't sleep long and he awakens suddenly like he is gasping for air. while he is sleeping he opens his eyes slightly and it looks as if his eyes are rolling back.

With small infants, not being able to console the baby is usually a sign of distress. If the baby is still eating and peeing okay, you might be able to wait a little while to see if he gets better.

But, if he is not eating or producing a good urine output, you should contact his pediatrician. If he continues to not be consolable, you should also consider contacting his pediatrician, since he is so young.
