New User, Becoming EHEALTHy
Hello -- I'm new to the forum. I recently
had a very bad reaction to shrimp (I
think) with face, throat, neck, and
glandular swelling and itching. I
attribute it to shrimp because this is the
third time I've had a reaction to the
shrimp at a local japanese hibachi
restaurant -- this being the worst
reaction by far. The odd thing is that I
eat shrimp at home with no problem and
just got back from Hawaii where I had no
problem with the shrimp. I even was
tested for a shrimp allergy in the past
(after my less severe reactions) and the
result was negative. Has anyone heard of
a specific kind of shrimp that one is more
likely to be allergic to?
Thanks in advance for any help.
