Hi, im really nervous, the condom broke and there was a lot coming out of me. I just used the restroom and i noticed more came out then also.
This happened about ten hours ago. I got off of my period about 7 days ago, i only bleed for about three days every month. I started on the 22 and last month was the 25.
Should i be concerned and get the day after pill?

Please help and Thank You

Birth Control Answer A28225
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
You are closer to your ovulation time after finishing with periods. Any intercourse during this time can put you at risk for pregnancy. If you are not ready for pregnancy, you can consider using emergency contraception within 72 hours of unprotected sexual contact to prevent pregnancy. Wait and watch for your next periods. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and assistance.
If pregnancy gets ruled out, and if you intend to remain sexually active, consider visiting your gynecologist to get started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected (after your periods). Be regular with birth control use as instructed. Avoid having unprotected sexual contact.
Take care.

Hi, thank you so much for your help, but i have another question. I do feel ready im at the age, but i took the pill because he wanted me to. I know i was at my ovulation point. It was day 13 when this happened, I waited 2 days before taking the pill. I’ve had no side effects, spotting, nothing. So basically if i were to be prego, and took the pill, could it do any harm?
Also, is there any way to know before my next period because I do drink sometimes and I don’t want to if I am? This guessing game is very stressful.

Thanks for you advice.
