Q: Should I ask my doctor about MS?

I'm currently 24.
In 2005 I began having headaches. They weren't so bad at first, but quickly became an almost constant thing. I had vertigo a lot, dizziness, nausea, fatigue. No light or sound sensitivity. It got so bad that I had to cut hours at work in half for a while. I was sent to a neurologist who said they thought it was migraines but wanted an MRI just in case. (I had a ct scan somewhere in all of this..). I was never told what he was looking for besides possible tumors. I was put on topomax. The topomax was really bad on my system and I had some issues (severe eye disturbances..) and was told to stop it immediately. The headaches just went away about then.

Fast forward to 2008. I gave birth in May.
A few months afterward, I started getting headaches again. At first they were once every two weeks, then once a week, then everyday, then pretty much around the clock. Now they seem to be everyday, but not constant.
But this time its not just headaches. Below is a list of symptoms I've had this time, I have no idea if any/all are related: (Not all symptoms are felt all at once)
Headaches in my forehead and front-top of my head, always on both sides
Most of the time its VERY pressurized pain, sometimes just pressure, and sometimes throbbing.
Vertigo, I feel like the room is spinning
2-3 instances of leg weakness, it felt like my legs were going to crumple
Episodes of extreme fatigue, I feel like I just can't get up.
Almost complete lack of concentration
Forgetfullness(but I've always been forgetful to a degree)
Sometimes "I'm" just not "there". My mom describes it as me being somewhere else. I just have trouble processing thoughts at all.
One episode of intense pain behind my right eye. It felt like I was looking into a bright light.
Buzzing feeling in my head where the headaches are usually felt.
Ringing in my ears.
Overall tiredness and weakness.
And I just don't feel myself at all.
Sometimes when it gets bad, my eyes will have a hard time focusing on one thing for more than a few seconds
Sometimes my eyes feel tired and weak.
Nausea
Hot flashes?

Help please! Should I ask my doctor about MS?

I suggest that you make an appt with a good neurologist and if you keep a journal of your symptoms and length of time they last and when would be beneficial...

And you may want to educate yourself about MS so you will be in-tune with your doctor.

Let me ask you this: How did you feel during your pregnancy? Did your symptoms subside?

During the first half of pregnancy I had headaches and nausea, but only that. Those are both common during early pregnancy and they both went away about the 13th week.
