Im a normally heathy 20 year old. I have a 9 month old and had high blood pressure when I was pregnant but it never became preeclamptic. For about a month and a half I have been getting dizzy spells and have to sit until they pass. Last night I felt unstable in my kitchen and the next thing I knew my boyfriend was calling my name and had called 911. He said I wouldn't respond and was convulsing and dry-heaving for about 90 seconds. When the ambulance got here my blood pressure was 168/145 and my heart rate was in the 160 range. I had shortness of breath and rapid breathing. They checked my blood sugar (115) and did a pregnancy test (neg.). I had a chest xray and an EKG and both seemed fine. They sent me home with 3 tylonol. My pulse ox was 82 and the doctor said the machine was wrong.. I feel like because of my age they're weren't doing everything they could to help me. I can't breathe! My family doctor prescribed anti-anxiety meds but my BP is still high. Any idea please?

My assumption is that most of these issues are medially related rather than psychological - and if this is the case you need ongoing medical management. Do you think these symptoms are anxiety related? Is there any evidence to suggest that you should feel this level of anxiety? Why are you having trouble breathing? Have you experienced a significant emotional trauma recently? You can see from these questions that you need a lot more answers. Your description is very thorough and you obviously know how to document things. Start to document your own responses and then go to your medical practitioner with your summary of symptomatic behavior.

Best wishes
