I can tell you for a fact you are carrying too much weight for your height. When you are dealing with HBP the heart is having to work harder so the shortness of breath will be normal. I use to experience that quite a bit as well. Exercise is just one component for dealing with HBP. You have to switch to a low fat diet, remove all sodium and caffeine for a while, and do not drink sodas or smoke anything.
Yes Davsan38 is correct, you do half to minimize your intake. For me I did things in moderation because it was easier to sustain this new way of life.
But another process that did more everyday was detoxing my cells, there are may forms of detoxing, some not the best for everyone. But through a intracellualr detox you not only able to eliminate many toxins that pile up in your system but also remove a lot of inflammation which ads to a lot of weight.
My weight extremely high but high enough to cause concern. I weighed 250 and by doing the detox change my habits to moderate amounts, I was able within 3 month's to get my weight between 199 and 205 because water.
This approach I believe will get you headed in the right direction.
I did the same. At 6 feet and 250lbs myself I slowly changed my eating habits. I ate more fresh vegetables, removed red meat and processed foods from my diet. the hardest thing to do was eat sweets in moderation.
That's really great you made those changes. Most people do not know what we are up against in the times we live in. If they knew the truth behind our food chain, they probally would faith!
If we don't take a proactive stand like you are on being the 1st defense in our health than we are in for a rude awakening. The medical industry including FDA are in the business for profit not people first, keep up the good work, I'm sure your are a inspiration to many that know you.
