I have recently come off the pill (COC) which i was on for 14 years and i am trying to conceive. It has been a few months now and my periods are getting shorter. since coming off the pill around 3 days (max 4) but the last one was 1.5days, lighter than usual and they are regular 4weekcycle. Not painful at all. Pregnancy test negative.

No history of PCOS in family. I am not overweight nor underweight, no recent weight changes. no other symptoms of PCOS, a few facial spots since coming off the pill but nothing anyone has noticed. My mum had uterine fibroids when she was late forties. I am 31.

Hi there, thank you for posting your question on Ehealthforum. Please remember that this is not intended as a substitute to visiting your own doctor. If you are worried about your health, talk to your doctor.

Having been on the pill for 14 years it may take quite some time for your fertility to return. It could take as much as a full year. Do not worry, time id on your side.
