my head ache has been on and off (mostly on) for about 5 weeks now, it started after i stopped my course of anti biotics for acute sinisitus.. i get shooting pains in both sides of my head some times in my temples, i also get alot of pressure... my anxiety doesnt help nor does me worrying but having a constant head ache is pretty scary dont you think? i went to the opticians and found out i also need glasses for driving, tele, and computer she said it wasnt the cause of my head aches... does this sound like anything worse to you cause i always think the worst of everything

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If the sinusitis is persistent or has become chronic, you can have on and off headaches. Other causes would include possibility of visual correction that you require. Do not delay in getting your glasses done. Get a repeat/follow-up evaluation done by ENT specialist to rule out chances of chronic sinusitis and other related issues. Drink plenty of water. Rule out chances of gastritis and take mild antacids and see if symptoms are relieved.
