shooting pain through right side of buttocks Posted: 06-15-08 05:57am
I am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and am in severe
pain...................
I have this absolutely horrendous sharp,
shooting pain striking up through the
right side of my buttocks and lower
back..
I know that people say that there are alot
of things that you have to just put up
with when your pregnant but this is so
painful.
Ive tryed stretching it out but it doesnt
work.. Its crippling and sometimes i can
barely walk or sit.
What should I do??????

I'm about 9 weeks now, and just last week
started getting that very same pain on the
same side. A friend at work said that
it's my pelvis moving and preparing to
hold the baby. I thought I was about to
throw my back out!
I have found that stretching does not make
it feel better...but it has eased off this
week.

It sounds like sciatica to me.
I hope you can figure it out!
