Sunday night was the first time i had ever been intimate then my boyfriend and i were again on monday night and then tonight and each time when we are finished i am shaking uncontrollably, then tonight it happend while we were in the middle of doing it to a point where it was a distraction and we had to take a break so that i could calm down. Most people would say its something to do with orgasms and thats something that might happen... i've never had an orgasm... it doesn't seem like it is something that is uncommon, but everything i've read is about the beginnings of an orgasm or afterwards and so i just want to know if anyone has any ideas, do you think that it is me getting close, or is it overstimulation, or something else? someone help me understand what my body is doing.

Shawty, Does that happen when you masturbate?

Masturbation is your own personal sex research laboratory. There you can figure out what is happening and how it feels in full privacy.

it doesn't happen when i masturbate, no and until we started having sex it had only ever happened once before when we were fooling around... but i think that time it was because i was cold. the last few times it wasn't because i was cold.

You should not react any differently to orgasm during intercourse or during masturbation.

During sexual arousal, blood is flowing to the surface of your skin on your chest, neck and face (called 'sex flush'). This will make you hot. So after sex you can get cold when that blood leaves that area.

I will also sometimes shake and shiver if my clitoris becomes too sensitive and it gets stimulated in that state. I just remove the stimulation in that area for a bit and stimulate something else until I get less sensitive.

I hope you are having safe sex!

It might be because your legs were in a weird position for to long. Its happened to me when we were doing missionary style. When he was finished I could barley feel my legs or move them. Thats why changing positions is good so your legs dont cramp up or fall asleep.
