Hello. Hopefully someone can give me peace of mind. I haven't been "well" for a lil bit. Earlier this month, I went to the doc cause of a rash and he told me it was SHINGLES! so I got meds, took em, and went on about my business. About a half a week ago, a got a really nasty cold, still have it. Now im late on my period. Me and my boyfriend were having unprotected sex, so yes I know theres still a chance I could be pregnant. We broke up 2 days ago and just realized today that Im late. Now Im really worried. I dont really think there are signs that I really am because it could be very well mistaken as pms. Like bloatness, breast tenderness, and really bad mood swings. I have also been having problems with heartburn. It SUCKS! I really dont think Im stressed over anything, until this morning. Could my illnesses delay my period?

Its possible.

But I think you should take a pregnancy test since you're late.

I am now 6 days late on my period. Last night I broke down and took a test. It was negative. This morning I tried to take the test again...still negative. What is delaying my period?
