I have noticed that an area on my shin hurts when I press on it. It seems to be localized at an area that is about 1 inch, located about halfway down my shin on the posterior side (inside of leg). I am an active lacrosse player, but it does not hurt when I play/run nor during any daily activities, only when I apply pressure. I do not think it is shin splints or a stress fracture, but I would like to know what is causing it and any treatments that can help. Thanks!
