No, it's simply a matter of taste. One ex- boyfriend preferred that I not shave but the one before him wanted it bald! Another guy just wanted it trimmed up and neat. Different men like different things.

Certainly not weird ..different strokes for different folks..it is a matter of preference.If your girlfriend is comfortable with shaving and it is what you like then all is well.I prefer trimmed pubes myself not a mass of bush...Enjoy

I am having trouble in this department also, my girlfriend shaves because she says her doctor told her to avoid bladder infections, I don't like it, find it not sexy or mature looking, doesn't have to be a forest, but not bare, I raised 3 children, 2 are girls and seeing the diaper changing and then bare pubic area is the same thing, takes away from the making love but she won't compromise.... don't know what to do because I do love her, been with her for 5 months but this troubles me and her not understanding my feelings hurts also... any help here would be appreciated..

Very annoying. To me, a woman without pubes is like a pie without a crust, sure, it's juicy and tastes great, but there's still something missing to hold it all together.

I like to have a "landing strip" down there, a small line which I keep trimmed short. I shave off the stubble either side. I don't like it resembling a forest, but I really don't like the idea of removing it all. Not having any makes me feel immature and like a girl instead of a woman. It doesn't stop my boyfriend giving me oral, he doesn't mind. He likes it after I shave because it's smooth and it makes me feel sexy also, but I'm not a fan of the "bald" look, it itches like crazy and reminds me of a plucked chicken.

Its all fine and good to like what you like. You however can''t really expect a women to modify her body based on what you like. It is her body. If you let her know what you like and she is willing to accommodate then good for you. If she feels more comfortable or more sexy a certain way then it is ultimately her choice.

I think all of you that want it shaved should realize, its natural to have hair down there. Personally, I find it primal and carnal to have some hair on a woman's genitals.
