Relax
He's not gay. He's just a modern man. Men and women my age (20's and 30's) shave and like our partners to shave. Pubes are out! People my age find pubes to be old school (if you don't believe me look at modern porn - no one has pubes). You're husband is not gay or insane. He just wants to join the 21st century (and you should too).

I wouldn't worry too much about this. Chances are someone told him that the ladies totally dig hairless berries and he wanted to see if you'd like them.

For the record, I have a totally straight male friend who shaved his crotch clean for his girlfriend (he's lets himself be whipped when he's craving booty, but I digress). Men of all orientations may desire to shave themselves in that area for many reasons, but I think your husband deserves a medal of honor or something if he actually shaved himself as opposed to using Nair - a lot of guys are afraid to have anything sharp that close to such a sensitive area.

I lvoe my DBF, but sometimes I wish he'd shave himself - there's nothing more irritating than a pubic hair stuck to the back of one's throat *ick*. Smile

He's not gay, just probably trying to spice things up or heat things up again. My husband shaves, or sometimes just trims, down there for me. Straight or Gay has nothing to do with wanting cleanliness down there. I shave down there to be clean looking, and I'm not a lesbian.

Where you with him of the trip? Because if he did it for you why did he do it when he was away from you??

My H shaved before we went to his christmas party. We had the night planned to stay over in a motel and he shaved. But he did it for me.. Not to sure about your H..

My sentiments exactly. I raised my eyebrows when you said he did this on a 5 day business trip. Why would he do this while away from you and without discussing it with you first? Makes me worry a bit, not because he may be gay (I also shave my nether region because my wife prefers it that way), but because of what else he may have been doing on that business trip. For your sake, I hope that didn't happen.

This reminds me of my bf a while back Laughing I was on a trip to PA to visit family & he called me a couple of days before I left to come back & told me he shaved down there, I didn't believe him since he jokes around a lot w/ me. Next thing I know when I get back he dropped his pants & showed me Shocked . In my opinion I didn't care for it, so I told him to never shave it again, just keep it trimmed & neatly groomed bc that's the way I like it. And that was good news for him to hear bc he eventually told me he didn't like it himself.
But anyways it's completely fine, sometimes guys just have an impulse to do something like that bc they think we will like it (I wish the guys would ask if we'd like it before they would actually do it)

I am a male and i shave, down there, even get my back and ass waxed. This is to be clean for my wife. That is just wat is in. but the first thing that i thought wasn't is this man gay, I am worried that he is cheating, it just doesn't make sence to why he would do this why he was away. and not at home with you. I'm sorry to say this but i just want to bring it to light. good luck and i hope that i'm wrong...about the cheating part not the gay part.

I'm really sorry but I think your husband is cheating on you. I'm almost 50 and my wife keeps me shaved and I'm not gay, it just makes sex alot better. No way would he go away and come home shaved all by himself. Good Luck with this!

Personally, I'm a 32 YO male and don't care what's "in" -unshaved is SO much hotter on a woman IMHO - and I don't do it either.

In the past I used to say that if you take the most beautiful girl in the world who shaves, and an average girl that doesn't, I'd take the average looking one. (All else being equal of course, personality, etc. matter more in reality).

He's not gay. Trimming is the way to go, though. It's too much up keep and sweatiness to stay bald. Unless you can do it to each other regularly and have fun playing its probably best to stay with a number two guard on a norelco trimmer. On the other hand, feathers and tie ups make his idea seem like more fun. Just be loving couples who trim or shave each other. How hot! That's fun.

I cant imagine why you would think he is gay.... are woman who shave lesbians? And why did he do it whilst away? Because (by your reaction) you are perhaps narrow minded at home and if he suggested it you would have flatly said "no"; so he was away... playing (by himself...with himself) and he just got a bit adventuresome...thinking about you as he did it.... Surely if he was playing up he wouldn't do something as blatantly obvious as shave his scrotum.... relax... and enjoy

I'm 57, nearly 58, and I shaved myself "Brazilian" for the first time ever just because I felt like it. Never much cared for all that wild hair anyway. My wife thinks it's weird, but I like it. Only drawback is 2-3 day stubble... yeoutch! It ain't gay, or Bi, or anything but a personal preference. Ever had a bag-hair get caught in zipper teeth? Not something you want to experience twice!

I was around 40 yoa when I shaved down there. I found it to be so comfortable that I wish I would have done it years ago. I didn't tell my wife when I did it because I knew she wouldn't like it. When she found out she went crazy but later she decided she liked it. When I told her I wanted to grow it back she asked me not to as she liked it much beter shaved.

I don't shave down there but I trim it pretty close. I just don't like to have a freaking jungle growing in that area. Just uncomfortable. + I think it makes sex better.

I don't think it's a huge deal that he did it before a business trip. It was probaly just bad timing on his part.

Definitely not a gay thing though.

Maybe he was bored in a hotel room all by himself for five nights. What else can a man do but shave?

Some guys think that it makes them look more impressive.

If they're in their twenties and have a rainforest to chop down then it might, but a man of fifty is usually less gifted in the gardening area.

I like thick hair, it is supposed to be there, and it's cheaper than buying dental floss. Shaved men can look like toddlers, and that's really creepy!

Sorry, but frankly I really think you need to get a grip.

Assuming that there are no other signs of him cheating, then this in itself is simply a case of him trying to spice things up between you. And, if I may be so forward, based on your response and tone, I think maybe he's the only one trying to do so, whilst you prefer to publicly moan about him/your relationship and call the guy you know better than anyone gay!

I'm straight, but have gay and bi mates. I also spend half my life in hotels on business. Nearly all my personal grooming is done in hotels! It's a way to pass the time, and means that I don't spend family-time at home doing something that I could have done in my own time in a hotel!

Personally I vary, sometime I shave my balls, sometimes I don't. Sex is defo better with shaved balls imho! My wife goes with the flow, but by enlarge likes me trimmed.
