Hi everyone. On Monday the 14now I was walking down our stairs at home at midnight in the dark and missed 3 steps. and really long storyshort was taken by ambulance to the hospital and went into surgery at 7pm monday evening. I broke my tibia and fibula in half, tore all the ligaments around foot and ankle and disclocated the ankle. Ended up with 11 screws and a plate. I have chronic pain since I was 16 and i'm now 30. I have RSD in my foot that I just broke and I can handle pain really well. this pain combined with asurgery pain. I'm just on the verge of a breakdown.The pain is horrible, I'm allergic to every pain med there is, and I break out in hives and itch, so I also have to take bendaryl. When in the hospital they were given me meds via IV and oral and still couldn't take much of it away.

I know I'm rambling, but jst wanted to know what others have dealth with and how long will recovery be.
