MY first daughter was born on dec 24th 08. at my six week check i recieved implanon. after about a week i started my period and it has not stopped yet. going on two months already. Then tonight i started experiencing a sharp pain in my neck. i am 23 and am a smoker who is trying to quit. My questions are should i be worried about blood clots and if so would it hurt if i had one? also the birth of my daughter was i bit harsh. they had to use forceps which resulted in many many stitches. also is it normal to bleed for so long with starting implanon or should i see my doctor about it?
Thanks

Implanon's site says you should notify your doctor if your menstrual bleeding is heavy and prolonged.
