I have had an ultra sound of my upper right quadrant which came back clear and I have had a HIDA scan that showed a 65% excretion. Now the doctor is recommending a endoscope. The fact is that I have sharp pain under the right side of my right rib cage that penetrates to my back. I feel bloated and uncomfortable. I use to just feel bad after eating a heavy meal, now it can occur anytime even if I drink too much water! I throw-up some, but it is not food, just bile. I get horrible headaches and am always tired. I am tired of tests and I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. If it is not my gallbaldder, what could it be?

It is impossible to provide specific diagnoses over the Internet, unfortunately.

The combination of an ultrasound and HIDA scan are about 95% acccurate in detecting gallbladder diseases. Having an endoscopy performed to rule-out gastritis or peptic ulcer disease is a logical next step, and so I would encourage you to have this test performed. Also, one needs to rule-out kidney disease as well (including kidney stones or chronic kidney infection) and chronic pancreatitis.
