Q: sharp pain in side !!!

im 8 weeks pregnant and have sharp stitch like pains in my side and under my ribs what could this be?? also im about 8 weeks and look like im 5 months is this normal??

I would def. Contact your doctor immediately! If you ever have any questions, or doubts, they would be able to answer. And have you had the appt. where they said how far along you are? You may be further than you know. NOTHING is lame, or w/e to ask your doctor. Pregnant women ALWAYS call with questions. They are use to it. I also have heard that women at about your stage do get those types of pains/cramps. But....When in doubt, call you doctor. That's what they get paid to do!
