Q: sharp pain in ear canal

I am a 25 year old female and I have been having pain in my ear canals for about 5 months now. I have had TMJ for over 10 years and have never had anything like this before.
It started with a head cold and then moved into my ears. I went repeatedly to my family doctor with complaints about pain and pressure, as well as loss of hearing in both my ears. for 2 months he told me my ears were fine, then he finally told me that I did infact have an ear infection.
I finished the meds, but the problem still persists, and more symptions are becoming apparent.
I now get really bad frontal head aches at least twice a day, I wake up at night with sharp, burning pain in my ears that get worse when I touch my ears, and my hearing is like when you have to pop your ears (and I have tried).
My inner ears are very itchy the majority of the time as well.

I have seen a new doctor about this and she just looked in my ear and said that everything looks fine and sent me home.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what this might be or how I can maybe bring this up to my doctor in a better manner??
