Headache and Migraines Answer A7632
Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth's Ask a Doctor forum.

If your 4 year old brother has no other symptoms except headaches then they could be due to migraines. Migraines are common in children too. They often too do not have typical auras associated with migraines.

The headaches at the back of the head an also be due to a space occupying lesion but these often cause other symptoms like vision problems, numbness, loss of sensation, vomiting etc.

An eye examination should be done by an eye specialist to check whether your brother’s fundus in the eye shows any signs of there being a tumor in the brain. Also a neurologist should be consulted to know the exact cause for your brother’s headaches as a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net. Hope this helps. Take care!
