Q: sharp pain at left of head

I am a 20yr old female and i feel shart pain almost lyk an impulse at the side of my head and it dies away.. It happens again after quite some time..not too many times a day though.. this happens above my left ear its been so since abt 5 days nw.. what is the reason for this?

n last nyt i ended up wid continuous pain at da same spot.. i'd 2 struggle 2 sleep peacefully.. m really worried if t cud b anythin serious.. cud ear pain cause dis? somethin lyk water trapped in da ear? or is t because o stress?? plssss help mee.. somebody!!
