Im 19 years old. I had my period and my boyfriend and I have safe sex. He wears condoms and I am on the pill. But recently I got morning sickness and headaches for a few days. But then today I had a sharp pain in my lower abdomen and it felt like it was going to explode. So i went to the bathroom and I started bleeding red and dark brown blood came out,and i think there was 1 or 2 clots. It wasn\'t my period bc the blood was think not thick. What is going on?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you are regular on pills and have not missed taking any in between, and you use condoms right from the start making sure that even pre-cum does not enter vagina, then chances of pregnancy can be less.
Morning sickness and headaches, with abdominal cramps and spotting can be suggestive of pregnancy. I would recommend you to go ahead with a thorough examination and tests done by your gynecologist to confirm/rule out pregnancy. Another possibility could be a pelvic infection and/or erosion of cervix. The examination done will help to look for these too.
Take care.
