I've had three episodes of this in the past 5 weeks. I experience sudden sharp abd pain on my left side that lasts as long as 30 minutes. It has been so painful that I stay on my side on the floor of the bathroom. Each time I have been sweating a large amount and I feel like my blood pressure might be through the roof. I turn red and get very hot during these episodes. The pain doesn't go away if I am able to pass stool. It lesses somewhat and becomes a more dull pain over most of my abdomen that is sharp occasionally and lasts for 30 minutes to 4 hours. No vomiting. No nausea. No blood in my stools. No fever that I know of. I generally feel unwell following these episodes, but not enough to prevent me from going about my daily business for the most part. I don't do anything strenuous, but in general I can function. 2 of the 3 episodes occurred within an hour or hour and a half post a meal. 1 of the 3 occurred 3-4 hours post meal in the late afternoon. What could this be?
