My vagina is sore, itchy and red. we have just started using a new flavoured condom and then the next morning this happened. i think it's an allergic reaction but not sure. this has never happened before. I know it's not an STD because we are always safe. please help.

There is not much you can do. Keep yourself dry and cool down there. Even go without panties (esp when sleeping) when it is safe to do so to keep it cool and airy. Wash with only plain water and your fingers. Use a small spray bottle with water and wash after urinating if it burns. Then pat yourself dry.

Use an ice pack wrapped in cloth to cooling down. Avoid sec for a few days. Use an NSAID type pain killer to manage pain.

Make sure you did not pick up a yeast infection. Anything flavoured can cause a yeast infection.

If it does not go away, speak to your doctor.

And need I say, get rid of the novelty condoms?
