Q: Sex nuvaring remove

I had sex today, the day when I'm supposed to remove my ring, but I'm scared to do it because what if the seman stays active and alive once the birth control is out and it gets me pregnant.

is that possible or will I not since I'm supposed to get my period 2-3 days once I take the ring out.

I'm incredibly nervous and I don't want to keep the ring in longer then a day after the three week period.
