I lost my virginity when I was 13 and had sex with the same guy several time throughout high school, then dated a guy in college and was active with him for about a month. The last time I had intercourse was 11 years ago. Life was a medical rollercoaster and I was more focused on getting better than on having a relationship. Well about 4 months ago I met someone I went to high school with and we had dinner a few weeks ago and will be together next week and plan on having sex. I'm completely comfortable with him, and he knows how long it has been for me. I'm just a bit nervous about things...is it like riding a bike? Will it hurt? I've also not had sex an any position but missionary and he's already indicated he likes several others, so I'm concerned about knowing what to do to make it feel good for both of us.

awe sweetie...don't worry. don't even give any of this a second thought...the reason is that you need to do what ever you feel like doing at the time. this stuff can't be planned. if you love him and you want to make love to him then just do what comes naturally to both of you. i doubt it will hurt, but be cautious and go slowly.

the main thing is just to relax, take your time, have plenty of time (NO TIME FRAME TO WORRY ABOUT) and just do whatever feels good and makes you happy.

anything 2 people do while loving eachother physically is awesome...so don't sweat any of it. don't worry about being good at it or not good at it. just have fun and relax. also one last comment...don't forget to allow your humor in (probably the last thing on your mind right now, but seriously)...because sometimes funny stuff happens. don't be afraid to laugh about it. if someone farts, don't freak out...just laugh...if you bang your heads together, just laugh it off... don't take the experience or yourselves too seriously.

the fact that your so comfortable with him is a HUGE PLUS. good luck sweetie...let us knwo how it goes ok?

Thanks, it's great that we can talk about anything with each other so I know he will be understanding. And we both have a good sense of humor! One reason we didn't do anything when we had dinner was there wasn't much time and I told him that I wanted to be able to take our time the first time we have sex.

Relax...He sounds like a nice guy and considering the fact that he is aware of your situation, I would not be concerned at all. Even if he is into different positions, I'm sure that he will be COMPLETELY THRILLED about having sex in the way you feel most comfortable! Good Luck!!! Smile

Just wanted to let you all know how things went. We're both in our hometown visiting family for the holiday. He came over to see me Thursday night, I had the place to myself. We were both tired from traveling that day but still had a very nice time being intimate with each other. Friday he came over again and while we weren't a lone we also couldn't help ourselves and snuck away for a quickie. So overall things went wonderfully and I only see it getting better.
