hi i wanted to know what the chances of getting pregnant were if sexual intercourse was conducted during the menstrual cycle. my periods did not stop after but did reduce. it was protected sex (condoms only) and sex was had on the third day after the onset of periods.

naintara, of course if you made sure the condom did not break when he took it off, the chances are zero. It does not matter what days of your cycle you had sex. The sperm is inside the condom and not able to get to your uterus.

If you have cycles longer than 21 days, you were anyway incapable of getting pregnant from sex on day 3 of your cycle, condom or no condom.
