You have come to the right place! I have had 2 c-sections, one vbac and one vbac2c and have 6 children. Some of the answers really depend on how well you respond to surgery and how strong you are, and that is really hard for me to say. Please do follow the advice of your doctors, but I will say in GENERAL that I have heard doctors say that you need at least a year for your incision to heal well enough to endure another pregnancy/delivery to avoid rupture. Many hosptials will not do VBACs because of malpractice, but you can try for one depending on the reasons why you had yours first C-section. You haven't given me enough information on that. 2 years is probably the ideal for many doctors.
As for having sex, all doctors advise 4 weeks before having sex, and many at least 6 weeks. Believe me when I say you will not want to do it before 6 weeks. It can be extremely painful to do it even after that time, so please give yourself as much time to heal as possible. I don' think I need to tell you that C-sections are major surgery and like being hit with a semi. You will not be allowed to lift anything unnecessarily over 10 lbs (which means you only pick up the baby) for 6 weeks.
