be something else. He is 2 and started having hives at about six weeks of age. He breakouts in large red welts on every inch of his body including is anal area and groin nose and eyes,he actaully has started to tell me that it hurts as well as itches and he scratches until he bleeds and them some. Sometimes even his mouth and throat seems to be in pain and itches. The allegry panel of his blood work showed allergy to cat/dogs but His doctor said the his IGE levels look good. Eventhough I keep him away from animals as best as possible everything seems to make it worse, very hot or cold weather and even the water seems to make it worse. we have tried everything and Nothing is working we have air purifiers we have removed caperts and we use humdifiers. Currently he is being treated with septra and hydrocortisone singulair and attarax but they are not working and now the dermatology specialist is accusing me of not following a regimen and meanwhile my baby is abosultey miserable I do not know what else to do. i really believe something else is going on but they just will not help us they just keep sending him home on more antibotics and more cortisone I just need some advice what do I do next?
