I get terrible period pains all the time. It often starts like an ache in my left side and becomes a sharp stabbing pain which spreads to the centre. I can find no comfort and often find myself pacing the room or curled in a ball. I feel nauseous, faint and not to mention in agony. Not only the pain but my periods have gotten much heavier. Now I am using the highest absorbancy tampons and changing them every few hours. Im also incredibly bloated all the time, if that means anything. Im 6 feet tall and weigh 143lbs, so its very noticable.

Please, is this something I will have to deal with forever, can I do anything? Could there be an underlying issue? Please help

Hello,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Your symptoms of severe pain and abnormal bleeding could indicate possible endometriosis.
Discuss your symptoms with your healthcare provider/gynecologist and get thorough examination and investigations done to find out the cause. Once the underlying cause is made out, appropriate treatment can be started for your symptom relief.
Take care.
