my 15 yr old daughter has constant abdominal pain with a dramatic increase after eating. approx. 7 mins after she eats every single time, she is doubled over with pain, dizzy, and begins vomiting. she has had her appendix removed, an upper scope with biopsies, and a ct scan. her only findings have been some inflammation on her ct and her white blood count is just under acceptable. this is not an eating disorder concern as well.

the pain has been going on for 4 weeks and the vomiting for 2 weeks. now for 2 days she also black outs after she vomits. the blackouts include a tingling feeling and some tremors in her upper body, but not seizures. the whole process takes about 30-40 mins and then she is back to her average pain. the only additional health issues she has had in the past has been recurring shingles... about 5 cases including complete loss of her vision in her left eye.

She needs a second opinion. You did not state where her inflammation is located. If it is in her stomach then that would be considered gastritis.

However the tingling / shingles...that is not part of gastritis.

Has she been evaluated by a neurologist?
