Once I try to stand up or put any type of downward pressure on my lower back I get the most painfully sensation almost like a pinched nerve In my lower back but after I relax for 15 min or so it goes away, the pain is right in the spinal area and it's been occurring over a 6 month period, any suggestions on what to do because doctor thinks its no big deal?

I believe that it is your sciatic nerves which are being either pinched or dislocated. These nerves would have to be reset soonest or it will get worse. I know as I have been a Healer for 14+ years. If you can find a specialist in this field, resetting dislocated and pinched nerves, go. Remember that there are very few specialist in this field in the world who can perform this. Good luck.

You need to learn what is causing the pain by tracking your activities and refrain from the activities for a while. Make sure you do proper back stretches and warm-ups prior to physical activity. I herniated 2 discs and was stubborn about refraining from playing baseball and ended up needing surgery.

I would seek help from a Chiropractor. I Would recommend 3-5 adjustments. If that doesnt help then I would get an MRI...
