My father has severe pain in right knee. His knee had become about double in size. After 12 days, still it's about 1.5 times of the normal size. After X-Ray the Aurthopedic doctor attending him, said that the x-ray reveals osteoarthritis, but it's much little. But the pain & swelling is much more than what it should be at that much osteoarthritis! He adviced C.P.K & P.S.A blood test. The C.P.K test report is normal. Am awaiting the PSA test report. But the swelling & pain is getting healed at very slow rate.
Can anyone tell me, exactly what happened? Why so much swelling & pain is there? My doctor adviced me to wait & watch & to apply hot press..
