Hi! I am so desperate where to go from here...
I was diagnosed with a centralized disc extrusion at C3-4, and disc protrusion at C6-7 with cervical kyphosis last October 2011. In addition to my lumbar similar diagnosis on the L2-3 and L5-S1.
My lower back pain is better and for the last two months, I have been experiencing severe headache day in and day out.
I was admitted to the hospital last May 12, 2012 due to severe headache, dizziness, nauseated, neck pain and tenderness on my head where the pains are.
I went back to consult with my primary doctor and ortho.
I had a CT Head or Brain w/o contrast done last May 14, 2012 and the result is "negative study".
I started my cervical therapy as my ortho prescribed.
After the therapy, I rested for an hour before I drive back home and while driving, I feel lightheadedness or unconsciousness, and slight blurry/ double vision. When I got home, I took a nap and woke up because of the sharp pain I have on my left side of the head.
What else should I do? Where can I go from here?
My primary doctor said, she does not think I need to see a neuro because my CT scan is normal.
Is there any other test or exam I need to have to better diagnose what I have?
My MRI done in October can be repeated after six months from there but my ortho said to have the cervical therapy first in two weeks and come back if I don't get better.
I do not know how to address them that I think I need other test done.
Please help me, please... I am unable to work my regular routine as a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk because a sharp shooting pain comes during the day. And unable to concentrate on what I am doing. I feel dizzy and would want to lie down.
Thank you in advance.
Please ask me questions to help me relay all the information I needed to provide to be able to come up into a solution on curing my pains.
THANK YOU for taking time to read my letter.
Sincerely yours,
MEEQAELLA
