Headaches that appear during or after strenuous exercise, are known as exercise headaches.
Most of the time, these headaches are harmless, and occur in people that are usual migraine sufferers (migraine brought on by exertion), or because of changes in blood pressure and blood vessels in the brain during exercise (exertional headache), and in small percent of people is linked to problems in the muscles, joints and nerve structures of the spine (evaluating and treating the spine problems will lead to ceasing of this type of headache).
If the headache you have experienced is not serious one, it should last no more than 2 days, but, if this pain last at least a day and linger for several days or longer, becomes worse overtime, and you have additional symptoms like stiff neck, nausea, blurred or double vision, visit your physician immediately (abnormal brain vessels, brain bleeding, or brain tumor are serious causes for exercise headache).
Best wishes!
