Ok, my neighbor is absolutely an alcoholic, that much I know. I have spoken with him about this on many occasions, yet my best attempts fail everytime. However, there is a new bit of information that has come my way via his wife. She comes over to vent about her husband, I feel kinda uncomfortable, but what can I do ya know?

This new info is that he refuses to flush his own bowel movements....well not refuses, just flat out doesn't do it. He has several weeks of bowel movements built up in there, yet continues to poop in this toilet. He also will not clean up after himself, he will eat platers of shrimp and jsut throw the shells on the ground, and leaves them there for months or years.

He also will attempt to defecate in the cat box. I know it sounds.....funny and unreal, but this is 100% serious.

My question is... should his wife be concerned about some serious mental breakdown? What type of condition could this be? What can she do to help this man if he is unwilling to see a doctor? Baker act? he is in his early 40's, and holds a full time job somehow.
