My friends Mom, who is technology incapable asked me to post a question involving her current symptoms. She's 52 years old and 4 years ago had severe Diverticulitis and had to have invasive surgery, in account that she waited until she had past out in pain before she went to the doctor. About 4 weeks ago she had an extreme pain and we MADE her go to the doctor in which she was told she had appendicitis and later found out that her appendix was septic (i'm not sure if that is the right word), but basically her appendix was rotting away inside of her. She's had her post op check up but, she's still having throbbing pains in the appendicitis surgery site and pain seems to be spreading. In her past surgery she developed an infection so does that make it more likely she'll develop one again? She made an appointment for a check up in another two weeks but is this pain more serious? Sorry for the long story.
