I got a number of molar fillings about two weeks ago. They are white, but I'm not sure on the material. Since then, one of my upper right molars has been very sensitive to heat and cold. I've also noticed a horizontal line just above the gums that I am able to feel with my fingernail. I think it may be a crack, but I'm unsure. I've read online that chewing pain is common with a fractured tooth, which I haven't experienced (as far as I can tell). I also have some sensitivity with the other fillings. I've got a dental checkup in a month, so I was wondering if I should go in sooner to have it looked at or simply wait and ask while I'm at the dentist?
