Have had this problem for months now - I frequently feel as if I have a hair in my left nostril. I blow my nose frequently because of it, use saline mist, go to great lengths trimming and plucking the hairs inside. there are no lumps, no lesions, and I am not suffering from any allergies when this occurs, which is almost, but not always, for several hours daily. Sometimes I am indoors when it starts, sometimes out, sometimes at work, sometimes at home (I cannot narrow it down to an environmental factor). It is very, very disruptive and I cannot for the life of me figure out what is/could be causing it. I have not seen a doctor or an ENT because I am pretty sure they will just say 'must be allergies', 'probably dry air in the home' etc. and frankly, I really don't think it is either of these. 1) Have you heard of/encountered this before?, and 2) Any theories?
