Q: semen analysis after vericocele surgery

I have under gone a left vericocele surgery in january 2008 and
Following is the report of my semen analysis after three months of surgery,

Quantity : 3ml
Colour : Milky White
Reaction : Alkaline
Viscosity : Viscose
Fructose Test : Positive
Motile'' : 10%
Sluggishmotile :10%
Dead : 80%
Sperm count : 48 miilion/ml
Pus Cells : 1-2/HPF

can anyone please tell me whether this report is normal or not, in case if it is not than can anyone please suggest me what is the medical solution for it . I am 25 year old male not yet married. Also will it going to effect my married life???. pleaseeeeeeee help me out.

I suggest you speak with your doctor. Your report suggest that most of your sperm are not viable and the ones that are are poor swimmers. This could be due to the procedure you just had. A follow up analysis may show more viable sperm. If you find that your analysis comes back with the same results then you may want to consider speaking with a fertility specialist. A specialist will be able to answer your questions and offer your any treatment options.
