Two years ago my bf was skating and broke his leg, or at least fractured it in several places, though he never went to the doctor or anything. Then he met me about 9 months ago and a few months into our relationship he told me what happened and i starrted to bind his leg in a way to try and heal it. This is what i do.
I have two leg wraps for him, one that goes on the leg not too tight yet not too lose. Then i take popsicle sticks or some other kinds of sticks like that and place them along the bone to align it, then wrap it with another thicker, tighter layer of bandage (basically an ace bandage). I'm wondering if this is ok, and if i'm doing it right. I'm also wondering if any of you can suggest anything else that i could do to help him, or add to what i'm doing to help it heal faster.
unfortunatly his family doesn't have enough money to go to the doctor, nor any insurance to pay for anything. I'm wondering if there is also some alternative medicine, aka something natural that he can take to help ease his pain. He is in almost constant pain in his leg, more since i started wrapping his leg how i am (it's a lot better now that it was though, it's straighter and actually starting to heal) He refuses to take medication, aleve, tylenol, besically any medecation, including if a doctor prescribed it.
If someone could reply and give me something i could possibly do to help that would be really really great, i hate seeing someone i love in pain.
