I would like to know if anybody has any clue as to what these symptoms mean. My 6 month old started having seizures at 6 months she is delayed in development and has low muscle tone. She is starting to do what she should now and at 3 years old is at 1 1/2 to 2yr old phase. She is by no means slow, I just wish i knew what caused this? help?

Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health forum.

From the history provided , seizures ; delayed development , low muscle tone indicate a metabolic condition affecting the normal growth and development of your kid.

You might consider consulting pediatrician for a physical examination or a neurologist who can conduct investigations including a MRI, EEG and make a definitive diagnosis. This might help to provide proper treatment.

I hope this helps.

my baby
We are seeing a nuero dr and have yet to have a definitive dx. I feel like we are walking an uphill battle on ice. Any idea as how to narrow it down to certain metabolic disorders? She is slowly improving but I want to help her achieve her full potential. We had blood tests done but nothing yet.
