I first noticed this feeling over 7 years ago. I remember that it started around the same time I got my cell phone. I would talk on it for hours and after awhile the heat from the phone would feel like it was radiating into my head. Then even when I wasn't on the phone, I would feel this warm sensation on the side of my head. I also had a few episodes where my hearing went out in that ear for several seconds and then it returned. My doctor sent me to an ENT and he did a hearing test and looked in my ear through a microscope. There was a small difference between the ear I talked on the phone with (my right ear) and my left. The right wasn't as good as the left. The weird feeling on the side of my head has never gone away. I hate to be on the phone even with a headset because it bugs me. That side of my head feels warm constantly, but when you touch it, it isn't. It also feels like something is there, like maybe a fluid, growth, or thickness? It's not painful just feels abnormal
