So for the past month I have been seeing flashes of light. I had seen them ones in a blue moon before this but now it has started to become more frequent. Ill usually see it off to my right side but have seen it on my left. I did get in a car accident about 2 months ago and hit my head really hard on the back driver side window ( we got t-boned) but my doctor said since i didn't have any big symptoms of a brain bleed that it was most likely be post cuncution syndrome. Shortly after the accedent I ended up getting pretty sick and started coughing up a lot muccus (enough at times to make me have to stay at home because I would be throwing up) and now that has died down (but not gone away) and now I have started to see a light that flashes. This light is not really intence but is enough to catch my attention. After a while i would start to ask people if they saw a flah too to make sure it wasn't an issue with the lights. I have seen this in many places wether it be at work or school and even out side. I do not know if this is connected to the car crash and just had a delade effect or if it could be something else. Just need some advice.

ps i also had frequent headaches afterthe car accident(like a nail being stabbed into the front of my head on the right side for 2-5 sec at a time) that have slowly went away. Also in the car accident I hit the back left side of my head on the window.

Jason--Tell your parents and go back to your doctor ASAP and tell him/her that you want a MRI or CT scan done..Even going to a Ophthalmologist would be beneficial with your seeing lights he can see in the back of the eye to see if there is any damage that way..Sometimes you could have some swelling and other things show up after swelling is gone down..Not saying this is the case-but tsomething certainly sounds wrong.. You could even have a retinal tear..kd
