I've been on Yaz for about a year now, with few problems besides some breakthough bleeding. However, I just started a new pack about a week ago, finished up my period at the same time of course, and now my period has started again mid-pack. I don't mean breakthrough bleeding, but rather a full-out second period. I admit that I'm not good about taking it at all, but I only take it for regulation, and always use another method for sex. However, I think I've been fairly regular with it this cycle, especially since I'm only a week and a half into it. I know I missed one last week, but took it promptly in the morning (my normal time is 10pm). Does this mean Yaz is not as effective for me anymore? I switched from Ortho, because that was causing breakthrough bleeding pretty much every month. I don't want to have to switch my pill again.
